Anyways, back to the topic. Now is the time I pretend to be a specialist in political news and give my honest opinion...basically the way I understand things. Before that as a disclaimer, I need to say I have done no research on the politics in Karnataka, and I know just the tidbits of information I heard in the passing. Now would be the time you stop taking me too seriously.
I am sure most will agree with me when i say politics is mostly about power, and the very least about development of the district/state/any size farm land. Hnbl. Ex PM Devegouda proved it to us by accumulating more land and businesses than doing them any good. He was doing it for personal gain at the cost of a few businessmen, that is fine. What happened after him? Along came SM Krishna and along went SM Krishna. Frankly I don't remember much about him. I suppose that makes him a good minister. What next? Junior Devegouda and Mr. Yediurappa both want to be chief minister. Why? Not because they felt each had personally better plans for the state..No. They just wanted to be Chief Minister. Like kids fighting about who will be the Police in a simple game of Kalla Police. It's all about the Title isn't it?
And what did they decide? In a pure juvenile fashion they decided to share the title :) but of course one after the other (How mature..). Mr. Yeddiurappa must have expected that when the time comes his Juvenile Co Chief Minister will not budge from his seat. I mean c'mon... that is exactly what he would have also done right?
What follows is some violent 'chair fights', "I am more honest than you (relatively)" fights, and some colourful speeches on TV. And yes this is where my confusion started and I must admit I stopped caring at this point.
Back to the present - Now you know why I was wondering who our CM was. Now suddenly when I am 'older' I have started feeling I should probably know what is happening in the Vidhana Souda. Maybe I will start with the 'next' chief minister ( if it is only one individual).
